As Optech’s Chief Technology Officer, Chris uses his more than 20 years of experience building organizations, coding software, designing architecture, and leading product teams to help Optech’s clients achieve their operational and technical goals. He is an experienced technology leader who has built and lead high-performing teams that run mission-critical systems. Chris was previously CTO at MasonHub where he designed the infrastructure, API, and OMS to power fulfillment for millions of e-commerce and wholesale shipments. Prior to that, he was VP of Engineering at freight marketplace Transfix, where he tripled the size of the tech team with the goal of reinventing the long-haul truckload industry, and at LinkedIn, he was responsible for the content ingestion and gateway platform. He was also Senior Director of Back Office and International Engineering at Gilt Groupe, where he built teams and architected the communication and inventory management systems as well as international fulfillment from 2010 to 2015. A Pennsylvania native and Penn State grad, Chris also earned a Master’s degree from Rutgers University. He is now proudly Jersey Strong alongside his wife and two daughters.
